A LITTLE ABOUT FRICTION JEWELRY

Hey I’m mike D, owner of Friction Jewelry.  I started Friction in 2006 on a kitchen table in Astoria, New York.  It’s still on a kitchen table, albeit a slightly bigger table, thanks to my loyal fans and rad customers.  Our main retail projects happen during the holiday season with our biggest pop-up store in Bryant Park, New York City.  It opens just after Halloween and closes early January.  The Philly store is also sick, so if you can get to either place check us out!

We ship out of New York.  A lot of the jewelry on this site is made in California.  With Vitamin D infused into the jewelry, it makes you shine.  And we like shiny things.

I back up all the charms and leaves 100%.  The fashion jewelry I don’t make, its inexpensive and will not last forever. But I’ll still back it up under normal conditions.
