Boston T Token Necklace. 100% CIRCULATED Authentic token, used in Boston until 2006.
Token size is about the size of a nickel, in both diameter and thickness.
Chains are made of 14k Gold-filled. This piece will be shipped with a 22” chain unless otherwise requested in notes at checkout (16" and 18” also available in gold and silver).
NOTE: Circulated tokens will show wear from use. Small Knicks, imperfections etc. It's part of the history!
“Natural” tokens are essentially brass, arrive polished and will tarnish over time. These are the same, unaltered tokens taken out of circulation. They can always be polished shiny, and look nice on either chain style.
The 18K gold-plated tokens look more like jewelry. They are “heavy” plated (1 micron), meaning they will hold up very well over time and have a nice polished finish.
Note, tokens are no longer excepted for train rides :)
